Entry RequirementsSuccessful completion of a relevant Level 2 qualification in a related engineering subject, or relevent engineering experience.
Course Content
The qualification structure allows for awards in a range of "pathways", including installation, commissioning and electrical maintenance. There are a range of optional units within the pathways allowing flexibility of provision. The award follows on from the level 2 certificate and also supports the NVQ in Maintenance.
How will I be assessed?
Assessments are via a series of practical tasks in the appropriate units.
There are also externally set examinations.

What can I do next?
Successful completion can lead on to BTEC courses in Operations and Maintenance.
