C&G 7112-117 Level 2 - Making a Handbag

You will research handbag designers and current trends. The course involves designing and making a handbag with a flap, secure closure zip, mirror pocket and strap.
If you are inexperienced in the area of drawing and design this should not hold you back.
The course is 2.5 hours per week for 12 weeks
Entry RequirementsSome Sewing Skills would be desirable.
Level 1 -Making an Embellished Handbag would be a suitable introduction to this course.
Course Content
The course involves 1 unit for an award. These include:·Research into trends & designers·Design·Costing of a bag·Sewing & producing samples where relevant·Evaluating finished product.
How will I be assessed?
This is course work based assessment. There will be no formal exam.
