Course content:
The course is divided into three levels; Award, Certificate and Diploma

Practical training will be 2 days per week with a total of 65 days in a range of placements

Assessment procedure:
All units are assessed through unit assignments. There is also a multiple choice question paper for Unit 3. You will be assessed in your practical training for competence.

Entry requirements:
To gain entry to this course you will need:-
2 GCSE's at Grade C or above, one of which must be English or FACC level 1
An appropiate health & Social Care qualification at level 1 (judged on merit)

Qualifications achieved:
CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Child Care & Education

Progression opportunities:
The full certificate trains and educates candidates to work in a supervised capacity in Child Care and Education in a wide range of settings.
You may then decide to progress to a level 3 programme, such as the BTEC National Certificate in Early Years or NVQ in Childrens Care Learning & Development
