CACHE Foundation Award in Caring for Children Level 1

Course Content
Learners will cover a range of topics looking at all areas of children's care, learning and development. Sessions will include practical activities and theory to develop learners' knowledge and understanding of childcare. Following a successful first review, learners will have the opportunity to go to a work placement in a pre-school setting one morning per week. Personal skills will be developed in addition to communication, numeracy and IT.

Progression / Leads to
The opportunity to study on Childcare and Education Level 2 with an overall distinction or Health and Social Care Level 2 with an overall merit.
