Who is this course for?

Do you have a passion and interest in Health and Social Care? If so this course is a fantastic opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in the Health and Social Care Sector

What qualifications or experience do I need ?

The course is suitable for students aged 16-19 years. For students aged 16-19 years you will need 2 GCSEs grade E or above (including English Language).

What will I study ?

You will be required to attend college and attend work placement one day a week You will study a variety of Health and Social Care units including " Understand the range of service provision and roles " Understanding the principles and values in health and social care " Awareness of protection and safeguarding in health and social care " Introduction to communication " Introductory awareness of equality and inclusion " Introductory awareness of health and safety " Introductory awareness of person-centred support

How will I be assessed ?

Assessment is through coursework, practical work experience and assessment Please ensure you bring to your interview a handwritten personal statement of approx. 200 words about why you want to work in Health and Social Care

CACHE Level 1 Diploma Introduction to Health, Social Care and Children's and Young People's Setting
