CACHE Level 1 Introductory Certificate Childcare Health and Social Care (for mature students)

Who is this course for?

Offering a new combined course in both Health and Social care AND childcare. Students will develop knowledge and understanding in these areas, in a caring and supportive environment. Especially suited for students with English as a Second Language.

What qualifications or experience do I need ?

No formal entry requirements - learners must be working towards Entry Level 3 in Literacy.

What will I study ?

Students will develop knowledge and awareness of the types of provision in these sectors and the roles played by workers - from principles and values through to health and safety and working with others.

How will I be assessed ?

Assessed through coursework and assignments.

What qualifications could I achieve ?

CACHE Level 1 Award, Certificate and Diploma in Introduction to Health, Social Care and Children's and Young People's settings (QCF).
