For anyone working in childcare, or wanting to get into it, this is a fantastic entry course. This Level 2 Certificate in Introducing Caring for Children and Young People is an introductory childcare qualification designed for people with little previous knowledge or experience of the sector, but who feel that they can study at above the level 1 standard. This course is very much focused on children's welfare, health and safety. It is a full national qualification that could be suitable as a piece of initial training to someone working in a supervised caring capacity, or indeed as way of boosting ones CV.
This course is listed on the Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF) under qualification number: 600/0336/4). To gain the CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Introducing Caring for Children & Young People, you will need to pass all four units to achieve the 16 credits necessary.
