About this course
Students should hold a supervisory position in a suitable setting and are required to hold the NVQ Level 2 in Playwork or alternatively extensive experience. Students will be asked to sit an assessment/skills audit exercise.

Study Method:
Classroom sessions, independent study, workshops and portfolio building, practical and creative work and practical assessments.
Duration :Part-time day, one year, one session per week (alternate weeks)
Who the Course is For:
Candidates who are working with older children in after school settings or summer schemes.
Assessment:
Direct observations carried out to assess practical competence in the setting. Students will also produce a portfolio which includes 11 assignments and assessment reports.
Course Leads To:
NVQ Level 4 study or university entry.
