Cake Decoration - Sugar Paste Celebration Cake

About the course:
This is a hobby course, for anyone interested in cake decoration but does not want a qualification. No experience is necessary, students range from 17 to 63. You will coat a cake in marzipan and sugar paste and also learn how to crimp and emboss a cake.

Simple marzipan modelling will finish off the cake with some piping round the bottom.

You will be expected to make/buy a fruit cake during the course at home, this can be any size or shape you desire.

Equipment Requirements:
Some equipment will be needed, if you have any cake decorating equipment then please bring it, if not then it can be borrowed from the college. An apron and tea towel would be useful.
