Anyone interested in advancing their skills in camera and studio work. An ideal progression from the digital photography course.

Course content

How to set up, prepare, handle and dismantle a range of equipment safely.

Work effectively with others.

Filters and camera equipment.

Outdoor flash and off the hotshoe units.

Still life and portraiture photography.

Camera settings and functions.

Exposure and metering.

The principles of lighting and light balance.

Lighting effects and styles.

Image manipulation on Adobe Photoshop CS3.

Resolution, colour correction and composition.

Mount cutting.

Additionality

Please bring with you your SLR camera, notebook and pen to each lesson.

Please allow for paper, film, printing, mounting and chemical expenses.
