What will I study?
This course gives you a basic understanding of the knowledge and
skills required to work in the field of health and social care as
well as providing tutoring in basic literacy and numeracy.
Subjects covered include: caring for older people, personal
lifestyles, health and safety, IT and skills for work.
What can I do next?
This can lead to study for the BTEC Introductory Diploma, the
Certificate in Health and Social Care or the CACHE Foundation
Childcare and Education.
What are the entry requirements?
You will need to have an assessment test, interview and provide
two references.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
