Course programme

This Unit will develop candidates' knowledge and understanding of Dementia and the effects it has on the individual and their Carers. It will also enable candidates to develop awareness of the skills and strategies necessary for the support and care of people with Dementia and their Carers. Candidates will also explore the role of statutory, voluntary and self help organisations who support those affected by Dementia.
