You will need a Carpentry and Joinery NVQ Level 1 or Level 1Diploma. You will also need to be employed or self-employed in theindustry to enable work-based assessment to be carried out.

What can I do next?
This can lead to the Construction Skills Certification Scheme
(CSCS) card and progression onto Carpentry and Joinery NVQ Level 3

What are the entry requirements?
You will need a Carpentry and Joinery NVQ Level 1 or Level 1
Diploma. You will also need to be employed or self-employed in the
industry to enable work-based assessment to be carried out.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply
