This course suits unemployed students who would like to gain a

What will I study?
This course consists of practical and theoretical study for two
to three days per week. The programme is offered as a
continuation from the Level 1 Diploma.

You will need to have completed the Foundation Construction
Award or Level 1 Diploma to gain entry to this course.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is through practical skills and the underpinning
knowledge, including short tests, subject assignments, a health and
safety test and an externally set theoretical knowledge test, which
can be retaken at the college if necessary. Students also meet
regularly with tutors to help plan studies and to discuss
progress.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
