Course programme

What will I learn?

Handling and storing resources, contributing to work relationships, contributing to providing working platforms, preparing and using portable power tools, preparing and using woodworking hand tools, using basic wood joining techniques and functional skills

How will I be assessed?

Criteria-based course with six units, knowledge test after each unit and a fi nal multiple choice test Practical skills are assessed through 11 projects plus one 18 hour timed task

What may it lead to?

You can progress onto the Level 2 course

Entry Requirements

Entry is subject to interview, an assignment and taking part in a taster day
