Course programme

CCNSG stands for Client Contractor National Safety Group and it was originally known as SCATS. The CCNSG tends to be used most in Power Generation, Steel, Oil, Gas, and Chemicals industries.

The Passport is obtained after taking two days generic health and safety training and passing some multi choice tests. We ask that you bring 3 Passport Photos and your NI Number which we use to create the CCNSG Card, on the second day of the course when you pass,

After 3 years you must get your card renewed by sitting on a 1 day renewal course. You have a window of 6 months prior to the expiry date on your card and 3 months after. If you go over 3 months, you have to sit the full course.

GSS Training run renewal courses frequently. The prices for all courses at our Training facility are inclusive of; training, materials, passport card costs, lunches and refreshments. There is lots of free parking on our site, which is within minutes of motorway and rail networks and 15 minutes drive from Manchester Airport.
