Course programme
CCTV Operations are conducted in a control room away from the public. This makes it an ideal profession for those who prefer not to interact directly with the general public. As an office based role it also suits those less physically active candidates for the security industry.
This qualification places you on the security industry career and education pathway which can lead to degree level qualification and a senior management position for those that wish to go that far.
The training course is 28 hours in duration which are delivered over four days. It includes two examinations which are marked by the approved QCA body Edexcel and successful learners are awarded a BTEC Level 2 in CCTV Operations. This certificate gives the learner the correct qualification to apply to the SIA for a licence.
