Course Details

CeMAP Module 3 requires you to apply the knowledge and understanding from and by applying suitable mortgage solutions within the regulatory and ethical framework. It is extremely important that you take this module as soon as possible after completing

Our one day workshop has been specifically designed to teach delegates the technique of answering case study questions in readiness for their exam. Delegates will have the opportunity to complete at least six case study questions. These will be marked during the workshop and any highlighted areas will be addressed by the tutor.

The Mortgage Code will also play a prominent role within this exam and there will be multiple choice questions on this within the case studies.

Exam Assessment
  • 2 hour electronically tested exam.
  • 6 case studies each consisting of 10 multiple choice questions.
  • Pass mark of 70% (42 questions out of 60).
Detailed Syllabus
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyse consumers' circumstances and suitable mortgage solutions, taking into account any existing arrangements.
  • Demonstrate the ability to apply suitable mortgage solutions to specific consumers' circumstances.
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify consumers' needs and demands and recommend suitable and affordable mortgage solutions, using your knowledge and understanding of:
    • The advice process.
    • The UK finance industry, and the regulatory and ethical framework for giving mortgage advice.
    • The different types of mortgage solutions and the criteria for determining their suitability and affordability.
