Is it for me?
This Diploma Level 1 Construction course is designed to train learners up to craft level within the industry allowing them to gain a formal qualification.
It is a mixture of theory and practical based activities with a strong emphasis on self development. It is useful for anyone that wants to take the first steps in learning this trade to develop a career in this area or for personal development.

What do I need?
You dont need any formal qualifications to join these programmes but you do need a reasonable standard of basic reading, writing and number skills.

How will I be taught?

You will achieve a Diploma Level 1 in Plastering, which is accredited by CAA.

Can I go onto further study?
Successful students can progress on to a Diploma Level 2, NVQ Level 2, or other tool trade areas.

What are the career opportunities?
This formal qualification could lead you to be considered for a position in the building trade.

Key skills are not offered as part of this course.
