• There will be a limited number of places.
• This course will introduce you to the skills you need to work in a variety of job roles related to young children and will help you to make the right choices for your future. This qualification could help you to get further training or even a job.
• Keen to learn and enthusiastic about working with children.

The course is aimed at students, who would like to study and improve their skills. These students may have left school with few or no qualifications.

It is designed to stimulate interest and encourage learners to have an understanding of the skills needed to care for a young baby or young child. This qualification will also give you the opportunity to acquire knowledge and understanding of a range of skills. If appropriate, giving you vocational experience within a setting.

The course is designed as an introduction to the work place. You will also have the opportunity to practice and develop life skills.
