Amanda Brennan

Amanda Brennan is Head of MA in Screen Acting at Central School of Speech and Drama. Previous positions have included the director of Studies at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. She has worked on a free lance basis at Arts Education, Mountview, ALRA and internationally for the British Council as a Screen Acting specialist. She has been training and coaching actor for over 25 years in various contexts such as Theatre, Film and Television.

Ruth Torjussen
Tutor
Ruth Torjussen is the founder of filmdirecting4women. She is a qualified teacher and the writer/director of seven shorts and one feature film. Ruth has also worked extensively on other projects in roles ranging from actor, producer and script editor to 1st AD and production manager. Ruth graduated from Bournemouth University in 2000 with a degree in Scriptwriting for Film and TV and has since attended numerous other workshops and courses in directing and producing. She has several projects in development
