Course assessment:
There are three exams, the first two are multiple choice, where you will get instant feedback. The third exam is written, based on extended case studies, where you have to give advice to individuals about their finances.

Unit 1:Why Money Matters (25%),Unit 2 : Risk and Reward (35%), Unit 3: Making Personal Financial Judgements (40%).

What can this course offer me?
The Certificate in Finanacial Studies (CeFS) is provided by the Institute of Financial Services (IFS) which is equivalent to an AS qualification. It is graded like an AS and carries equivlaent UCAS points and is valued by employers.

What will I learn?
The course involves the study of personal finance. Topics such as bank accounts, credit cards, insurance and loans will be covered.You will learn about different peoples attitudes towards spending, finance and money. You will also learn about other financial products and peoples attitude to risk.
