CERTIFICATE IN EQUALITY & DIVERSITY (NCFE) Entry Requirements
No formal qualifications but you need to be working in an environment with colleagues and/or members of the public/customers.
Description
The NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Equality and Diversity has been accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) and is a nationally recognised qualification that enables recognition of achievement and facilitates career progression. The qualification is ideal for candidates who are interested in improving their understanding of issues surrounding equality and diversity.

Where a course is aimed towards an assessment/examination, it is expected that all students will enter for the qualification.
Method of Assessment
Students are required to complete written assessments for each of the units. These are marked and moderated by BCOT prior to certification. There is no formal examination required.
Progression
The qualification aims to provide a sound preparation for further study and access to a range of programmes including NVQ's. The specific progression route will depend on the vocational choice of the individual. In addition more general routes are also appropriate, for example Health and Safety or Customer Relations.

Which programme is most appropriate will depend on the nature of the work you do, your abilities and career aims. Your facilitator will discuss your options and provide advice to you.
