Course Content:
You will study the following modules: Introduction to the Hair and Beauty sector. Introduction to skin care. Introduction to wall art. Applying basic makeup. Present a professional image. Communication and numeracy skills.

This is an introductory course for those who wish to investigate a career within the beauty industry. You will be assessed by observation, oral questioning, assignments and written questioning. You will be expected to perform treatments on yourself and others. To participate on this course, you will be expected to purchase a kit and professional uniform from our approved suppliers. You will also be required to wear ideal shoes (no open toe, heels or sandals).

Progression:
Successful students can progress onto Level 1 Diploma in Salon Services (Beauty).
