Certificate in Portable Appliance Testing

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is designed for those wishing to gain formal qualifications in testing. Due to the Electricity at Work act, all businesses must be inspected and tested by a competent person every twelve months.

This is a one day training and assessment course, after successful completion the candidate will be able to issue PAT certificates on a commercial basis. You will require PAT equipment, with a calibration certificate. However, a PAT testing engineer can earn £300-£450 per day (equivalent to £100k per year).
