Fast-track route to Qualified Teacher status

We are responding to your enquiry from emagister about your interest in pursuing a teacher training course and we consider it appropriate to offer you a fast-track route which is also subsidized on a limited offer.

You will recall that since September 2007, the UK government has made it mandatory for teachers, tutors, trainers, assessors and instructors or those wishing to teach in the further education sector to hold necessary teaching qualifications namely:

PTLLS - Award in Preparing to Teach in the Life Long Learning Sector CTLLS - Certificate in Teaching in the Life Long Learning Sector DTLLS- Diploma in Teaching in the Life Long Learning Sector

The good news is that the first & second stages (PTLLS & CTLLS) have been simplified and achievable within three and six contact days respectively in an intensive classroom setting. Weekend and flexible distance learning options are also available. The courses are fully accredited by a national awarding body and recognised by the Qualification and Curriculum Authority.

At the end of CTLLS, candidates will achieve the Associate Teachers Status by the Institute for Learning as well as licensed to teach on an associate role.

The 3-day course runs weekly through students-centred 1 to 1 tutorial classes in a classroom setting. The course is also run in-house by arrangement.
