Course programme

What will I study on the course?

There is a choice of 2 welding process from MIG, TIG, MMA or Oxy acetylene (Gas) welding. Once you have chosen the welding process you wish to learn you have to produce 5 welded joints per process.


The course is 1 evening per week for 24 weeks. You will receive the necessary practical training from our team of skilled welders, knowledge and understanding to meet a minimum standard, equivalent to a BS EN 4872 welder approval specification.

No. However having an interest in practical skills would be an advantage.
