Certified Accounting Technician

ACCA is the largest professional accountancy body in the UK operating on an international basis. This underscores its international statues as a world leader in accountancy education. Thus joining the ACCA course will mean that your technician qualification will be well respected in all employment sectors throughout the world. On successful completion of the course and satisfying the practical experience requirement, you will be able to use the title Certified Accounting Technician (CAT). This qualification will make you eligible for entry to Part 2 ACCA’s professional examinations.

Entry Requirements:
Open Entry - Basic literacy and numeric skills needed. Candidates must be 16 or over
Candidate with no formal qualifications will be expected to complete all three levels of the Technician examinations. Some qualification will receive exemptions from some or all of the modules. Candidate receiving the exemptions is required to satisfy the necessary training requirement to complete the Technician qualification as a whole

Commencement: January/April/September of each year

Duration: Two and a half to three years
