Course programme
The programme will be delivered through formal input, discussion, group work and case study material.
Managers who chair meetings need to ensure that meetings make the most of everyone’s valuable time. This will mean keeping to an agenda and ensuring that everyone has an opportunity to have their say and that all the issues are covered adequately. It will also require skills for example, in managing some people who may be aggressive or insensitive to the views of others. This one day interactive workshop provides managers with the skills and knowledge to plan, organise, chair and end meetings, such that people attending will feel that their time has been used optimally and to greatest effect. The objectives are to help managers to:
- Gain insight into how to maximise their own and other people’s time.

- Improve skills of organising meetings.
- Improve skills in dealing with difficult people in meetings.
