Changeover to Manicure Course

This course is held on 1 day. Due to students being previously qualified in acrylic, gel or fibreglass & silk wrap enhancements, we hope that they require none or very little input to the aspects of hand & nail anatomy and basic salon health & safety. This enables us to break the course down to 1 day, and to fill that day with specific product knowledge and practise. To determine whether students are suitable for this course we have a short discussion, (prior to booking the course), to discover how in depth the students knowledge to basic salon health & safety and natural nail anatomy is. The course starts with a look at the Beautiful Nails (International) manicure range. We discuss product knowledge, which includes product storage, product use & contamination. We then explore manicure as a treatment and look into its benefits. Finally students are then guided by a detailed demo until they are happy to take part in practise on their own. In order to successfully pass this course, students must obtain a minimum practical achievement level of 85%. If students do not reach the necessary standards we offer first retakes completely free of charge. The day runs from 10am until 4pm, with a lunch break of up to an hour. The price includes 1 day of tuition, a student manual, certificate and a small manicure kit.
