A Level Chemistry combines theory with practical experience, encouraging imaginative critical and logical thinking for problem solving. The course requires you to have analytical powers and academic rigour, and is therefore respected in a number of unrelated career paths like law, accountancy and economics where such qualities are valued. The course includes structure and bonding, the periodic table, formulae, equations, energetics, inorganic and organic chemistry. You will learn via practical work, videos, discussions, presentations, group activities and lectures and will need good numeracy skills.

Entry Requirements
You will need 5 GCSEs at grade C or above however you will need a Grade B in Maths, English and Double Science, or a Grade B in your chosen Single Science subject.
Delivery and Assessment
This course is assessed through a series of question papers requiring either short or extended answers. You will also be assessed on your practical skills.
