There are plenty of experiments in this course and, together with other activities; they help you understand the topics. There are three parts: a section from storylines provides the settings within which the chemistry and skills are developed; chemical ideas provide the underlying chemical principles; activities provide practical work as well as many other types of activities, including research exercises, group discussions, chemical puzzles, student presentations etc. Your work will be based around chemical storylines, text and activities and when new concepts are introduced you will be referred to chemical ideas.
