Course programme

Course Details: Participants will undertake a self-assessment tool to help them identify the appropriate needs for their setting. Specifically, the course will take participants through a step-by-step process for organisations to help them develop their child protection policies and procedures.

There will be an opportunity to compare and contrast different policies and template policies. Using the guidance and templates, participants will be able to develop (and/or review) their own individual child protection materials.

They will be able to explore how effective partnership working can help them to properly involve children, parents and other organisations that can help their child protection policy to work effectively. Safe employment practices will be also discussed and clarified.

Attendance of the course will ensure that organisations will be seen to be positively promoting best practice in the important area of safeguarding.

Course Times: 9:00am - 3:00pm.
