What you need to know
How will I study?

You will study a variety of topics from Child Development, Health and Safety, Equality and Diversity to Personal Professional Development. You will also look at Employment Rights and complete Maths, English and ICT functions skills if applicable.
How will I be taught?

You will attend college once a week for the duration of the course as well as being supported one to one by a college assessor.
How will I be assessed?

Assessment will take place in the work place and in the classroom. An assessor will visit you in the setting and observe your practice providing support and feedback. The knowledge component will be assessed by a variety of methods including; written work, posters and reflective accounts.
