Childhood Obesity - Alive 'N' Kicking

Weight Management Centre is a leading provider of childhood obesity prevention and intervention services. We provide an array of services across a number of Prmary Care Trusts. Currently we work with: St Helens and Halton PCT, Hounslow PCT and Sutton and Merton PCT. Have a look at the outstanding results that we are achieving across these projects. Our programme known as Alive 'N' Kicking has helped very many families adopt a more healthy lifestyle and assisted hundreds of children in achieving their weight loss goals.

The childhood obesity training that we provide is accessed by hundreds of practitioners across the UK and delegates come from Primary Care, Local Authority and the Private and Voluntary Sector.

The training looks at the behavioural and environmental aspects of childhood obesity, and equips delegates with the skills, confidence and organisational framework to successfully work with overweight and obese children.

Training courses are accredited by the Government's sector training agency Skills Active, and appear on the DoH's Directory of Obesity Training for Primary Care.
