The PDA Childhood Practice is designed for you, if you have achieved a practitioner qualification at SCQF level 7, or equivalent and you are seeking professional development, or aspire to be a manager.It is aimed at providing you the opportunity to advance your knowledge using underpinning theoretical principles to enhance practice in the Early Years and Childcare sector.

Course programme

  • Practitioner qualification as prescribed by the SSSC e.g. HNC Early Education and Childcare, Playwork, SVQ Children’s Care, Learning and Development Level 3 or equivalent.

  • You should be working in a childcare setting or be able to undertake practice placement for the duration of the course.
