Level 2 Award Employment Rights and Responsibilities in Health, Social Care or Children and Young People's Settings Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce (England) The element of the qualification is composed of mandatory and optional units. These units can be knowledge-based, skills/competency-based or a combination of both. The qualification has 3 main components, Core Mandatory Units (Group A) which 27 credits must be achieved. Pathway Gate Units (PG) where a learner must 13 credits from the Social Care Pathway and Optional Units (Group C) which contribute to the full diploma qualification.
