Course programme
Already a qualified nurse or midwife? Join our degree course in Year 3 to develop your understanding of child health, and how you can deliver high standards of care to infants, children, young people and their families.
Our course will develop your understanding of child health, so that you can work effectively in services for children and young people.
Already a nurse or midwife working with infants, children or young people, you’ll develop your expertise through a choice of optional modules, which include antenatal and newborn screening, and intensive care nursing. As well as this, you'll be able to sharpen your research skills by completing our Research Methodology module.
Our modules are designed to enhance your knowledge and clinical skills in your specific area of practice. Take up to three years to complete our part-time course and by the end of it, you’ll be able to influence practice for the benefit of children and families in your care.
