Costs and equipment The course is fully funded for those aged 16-18, however there may be an employer contribution for those aged 19+. There is no upper age limit for Apprenticeship funding. Course programme
The course will include child development, principles and values underpinning the Children's Care, Learning & Development sector, provision of safe and effective development and play and learning.
The mandatory units are:
- Promote Communication in Health, Social Care or Children’s and Young People’s Settings
- Engage in Personal Development in Health, Social Care or Children’s and Young People’s Settings
