About the Course
This level 2 course is for those already working or volunteering in settings or services whose main purpose is children's care learning and development with children age 0 - 16 and their families. The course is modular. There are six mandatory units which cover contributing to positive relationships, child safety, child development, preparing and maintaining environments to meet children's needs and supporting children's play and learning. One optional unit is then chosen which reflects the candidates own experience and/or career plans.
The course runs on a Monday evening 6-8pm.
You may wish to be assessed by someone in your work place or by a college assessor.
