Qualification: NVQ (CACHE) Level 2 & 3

Description:
A nationally recognised qualification in care and education of children and young people 0 - 16 years, designed for those already working with children/young people aged between 0-16. You will be assessed in the workplace, providing evidence of knowledge and understanding.

Progression:
After level 2 - employment as a nursery, playgroup or classroom assistant. After level 3 - classroom teaching assistant, day nursery employment, work in social care settings or projects, playgroup supervisor, child minder.

Entry Requirements:
Working in a care/education environment. Interview.

Campus : - City of Newport Campus - Ebbw Vale

Mode of attendance:
One evening per week for portfolio/ support sessions. Candidates work at their own pace gathering evidence; assessment by arrangement with assessor.
