Paint Seasonal Flowers, Birds and Insects with a Chinese Brush
Taking birds, insects and seasonal flowers as inspiration and using traditional Chinese Painting materials Maggie will show you how to develop sketches into a vibrant freestyle painting, typical of this style of art. She will also explain some of the symbolism which plays an important part.
Chinese Painting is an ancient and fascinating art. It has developed from the calligraphy which is an art form in its own right. Traditional Chinese painting has a simplicity which appeals to many people. Beware - it can be highly addictive!
