I was introduced to the wonderful world of jewellery at University in South Africa where I studied Jewellery Design. However I did not pursue a career in the Jewellery field and after leaving University but became an accountant instead – a career that spanned 20 years!! This was until I was introduced me to the delights of Silver Clay. Ever since then I have been hooked and eventually gave up my full time job to run Art Clay Supplies, teaching and selling Art Clay plus associated products.

Course programme

Learn to make large hole beads with silver clay and polymer clay. These techniques can be used to create your very own personalised beads for Pandora, Trollbeads, Biaggi etc. style bracelets. During this workshop you will be shown how to make a base for your beads which you can then embelish with silver clay, paste or syringe type. We will also show you how to make these beads using various colours of polymer clay. Why not add a bit of bling with Cubic Zirconias or glitter. Previous experience with Silver Clay would be beneficial. The cost of this workshop is £85 which includes 10g of Art Clay Silver, gemstones, polymer clay, glitter, use of syringe and paste type. Of course you will also have use of all tools needed. Plus tea and coffee throughout the day.
