The course is designed for anyone working in a catering or hospitality location where food is prepared, cooked or served

Is there a test involved?
In order to attain the award, all candidates must take a 30 question multiple choice test (pass mark: 20/30)

How will this impact my work?
You will gain a basic understanding of food safety rules and regulations. The idea is that you will follow the standards you have learnt to create a hygienic, safe and professional environment to work in.

Things you should know
The course, workbooks and exam paper are available in various languages, for example, Cantonese, Bengali, Thai, Polish, Portuguese, Turkish and Spanish. Please make sure you let us know which language you require when making a booking. Lunch is not included though we will have a break for 45 minutes so everyone can get out for a bit of fresh air and a bite to eat.
