CIH Certificate in Housing Level 3

Level 3 is the equivalent of an A level or NVQ Level 3. It is suitable for Housing and Operational Officers, tenants, front line staff and specialist housing workers.

Successful completion of this certificate entitles the individual to become a Practitioner Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and to use the letters ‘Cert CIH’ after their name.

Level 3 comprises 5 core units:

  • Housing policy
  • Working partnership
  • Skills development in a housing context
  • Customer care for housing
  • Reflective practice

Students also choose to study a pathway unit:

  • Housing management and maintenance
  • Supported housing
