CILEx Level 6 Single Subject Certificates

Looking for professional recognition in a specific area of law and legal practice? CILEx's Level 6 Single Subject Certificates offer professional recognition to legal executives, lawyers, solicitors and anyone in a professional role that requires specific knowledge of law.

You can take the following CPD units with us:

• Unit 9 Land Law (Law)
• Unit 13 Law of Tort (Law)
• Unit 15 Civil Litigation (Practice)
• Unit 17 Conveyancing (Practice)
• Unit 22 Client Care Skills (Professional Skills)
• Unit 23 Legal Research Skills (Professional Skills).

If you want to complete the Level 6 Professional Higher Diploma in Law and Practice, you'll need to choose and complete the following combination of units:

• one practice unit and its linked law unit
• any two other Level 6 law units
• Level 6 Client Care Skills and Legal Research Skills.

You can currently apply for and complete Year 1 of the course with us. We hope to offer further units that you can take to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive Lawyer in 2016.

If you have completed the CILEx Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law and Practice, you'll need to register with CILEx as an Associate Member in order to join this course, for which annual subscription fees apply (currently £185). Exam costs are not included and will be payable directly to CILEx when registering for examinations. As an Associate Member, you'll be entitled to use the designatory letters ACILEx after your name.

The course is likely to be eligible for employer funding and may be eligible for a Professional Career Development Loan (PCDL), available from Co-op and Barclays banks.
