Objectives: This course is designed to instill the foundation skills and knowledge that an aspiring manager will need for the profession, together with understanding of the role and responsibilities of management in this field. They provide both an overview and detailed knowledge of each particular function, supplemented with more detail on the techniques used in implementation. About this course
No prior qualifications are required, but it is recommended that candidates are currently employed in the Logistics and Transport field. Candidates who successfully achieve the core Management unit, plus either the Road Passenger Transport or Road Freight Transport options, with an average grade across both papers of 60%, will automatically be awarded the National and International Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC). Candidates must pass both papers within six months. The CPC is a statutory requirement of the European Union (EU) for the grant of an Operator's License.
