Study Method:
A programme for administrative/support staff in a personnel function or with personnel responsibility. It is designed to introduce and develop skills in personnel management and administration.
Duration :36 weeks. Two sessions per week.

Who the Course is For:
Anyone who is employed in a personnel or similar role with personnel responsibilities.
Assessment:
Those wishing to gain the CPP will complete 4 modular assessments plus a management report.
Assessment of the management report and the 4 assignments will be carried out by the college.

Course Leads To:
A nationally recognised qualification that can help you to develop your career in a personnel capacity, to gain promotion or to achieve recognition in your current employment.
Progression to:
The Chartered Institute of Personnel Development Professional Management Education Scheme, CIPD stages I and II.

Content:

Legal requirements, policies and procedures
Employee relations
You will be required to submit four assignments as follows:
*Human Resource Plan and Organisational Context - theory-based assignment
*Recruitment & Selection - skills-based assignment
*Training & Development - skills-based assignment
*Performance Management & Employee Relations - theory-based assignment
In addition you will be required to undertake a project on a subject of your choice within the HR/Personnel field. You will submit a formal project proposal and your final project report will be 3,500 words.
