Once you graduate, you will be able to demonstrate your theoretical knowledge, academic achievement and show your commitment to a career in human resources at any interview. Our course will also draw out your positive personal traits and allow your talents to shine.
Progression:
Successful completion of the programme, as well as relevant work experience, will enable you to apply for corporate membership of the CIPD. You may also wish to top up to a MA in HR.
Entry Requirements:
In our experience in order to be successful on this level of programme you will need one of the following:
· 60-120 UCAS tariff points - any combination
· a BTEC national award in a related subject
· an NVQ level 3 in a related subject
· equivalent qualifications or relevant work experience.
Duration: Four to five years

What does the course involve?:
This course covers:
• leadership and management (managing for results, managing and leading people, managing information for competitive advantage, managing in a strategic business context).
• generalist electives (people resourcing, employee relations, employee reward, learning and development).
• people management and development (strategic understanding of people management and development issues).
• applied personnel and development (completing management research and producing a management report, undertaking and recording continuous personal development).
When can I study?:
One full day every three to four weeks
Are there any exams?:
Assessment is via assignments and external national examinations, culminating in a management research report.
