This lab-intensive 5-day course is aimed at providing network specialists with the knowledge and skills needed to secure Cisco IOS router and switch networks.
Who is this course suitable for?
· Network professionals tasked with designing and deploying Cisco security features in an IOS-based internetwork.
· This course is also recommended for anyone pursuing any of several certification opportunities, including

Are there entry requirements?
Students who attend this advanced course must have experience in configuring Cisco IOS software and have met the following prerequisites:
· CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge
· Basic knowledge of the Windows operating system
· Familiarity with networking and security terms and concepts (the concepts are learned in prerequisite training or by reading industry publications)
